About Vitamin A

Two different types of vitamin A sources naturally exist in the diet:

  • Provitamin A (or beta-carotene) is found in plant-based foods such as fruits and vegetable. It is converted by the body into useable vitamin A.

  • Vitamin A itself is found in animal-based foods such as meat, fish and dairy foods. It can be included in dietary supplements as retinyl acetate or palmitate.

Vitamin A may contribute to the maintenance of healthy skin, teeth, mucous membranes and skin. It also supports immunity and promotes good vision, especially in low light*.

Our spray-dried powder and water soluble beadlets exhibit excellent uniformity and stability in dry and liquid applications.

Vitamin A for direct compression

We offer vitamin A beadlets that are directly compressible and offer excellent stability during tableting process and throughout the shelf life of the tablet.

DIRECTLY COMPRESSIBLE VITAMIN A

Our microencapsulation technology provides beadlets that are directly compressible, avoiding compression loss and bleeding of ingredients during tableting.

DIVI’S UNIQUE MINI BEADLETS

For all fine powders where uniformity is a key performance parameter, we use a new cutting-edge technology to make unique mini beadlets. Our MiniBeads provide excellent stability and grant excellent uniformity in a range of applications.

Microencapsulated vitamin A for premixes

We use an exclusive microencapsulation process to produce MiniBeads, which are about 30% finer than regular beadlets for superior uniformity in fine powders like premixes.
