Turn Up the Taste with vibrant Colors

In recent years, veganism has gained in popularity. Beyond this movement, more and more consumers want to avoid ingredients derived from animals. To help food producers meet the demand, our range of ingredients includes many alternatives suitable for a vegan diet.

Many vegan products (like tofu, plant proteins, or starch-based bases) start with a neutral or off-white color. Our carotenoids are used to color vegan products, particularly to give them natural shades of yellow, orange or red that enhance consumer’s perception of the taste, freshness and richness of the product. They meet the growing demand for clean label colors in the food industry.

DIVI’S COLOR RANGE FOR VEGAN FOOD

Our carotenoids are encapsulated in a spray-drying or beadlet process which protects the actives during shelf life. Our carotenoid forms provide ease in handling and flexibility for processing.

Thanks to their stabilized formulation, our carotenoids offers superior coloration performance in vegan food, allowing appealing products without compromising on natural aspect.*
