Divi’s presents its new coloration solutions at IFT 2024. New products have been added to an already extensive range of carotenoids. Divi’s apocarotenal is available in a variety of forms, giving excellent results for coloring all kinds of beverages and food products. It provides uniform light orange to orange-red color in final preparations and is particularly suitable for use in applications requiring high-temperature heating. To answer increasing consumer demand for products containing less additives, the range includes a silicon dioxide-free spray-dried powder with the same performance and characteristics as a conventional spray-dried product, resulting in a nanoparticle-free ingredient.
At IFT 2024, Divi’s will also be showcasing CaroNat, a naturally sourced food ingredient for dark yellow to orange coloration of foods and beverages. CaroNat is made from concentrated carrot juice and inherently contains beta-carotene. Divi’s innovative production process allows the stabilisation of this natural ingredient in the form of a fine powder for easy handling and excellent stability. CaroNat provides superior performance in a wide range of applications such as beverages, instant drinks, yogurts, gummies, cakes, puddings, frozen desserts, and many more. Composed only of ingredients of natural origin and manufactured without the addition of silicon dioxide, CaroNat accompanies brands in their transition to clean labels and allows claims such as: “Without artificial colour/ingredient”, “Vegetarian” or “Vegan “.
Divi’s carotenoids and fat-soluble vitamins are available in a variety of high-quality formulations to best suit the requirements of each type of application, whether for use in fortification or coloration. Divi’s portfolio includes ingredient formulations developed for specific applications, such as CaroClear that is used to give a bright, transparent color to clear beverages, or CaroQuik that is quickly dispersible in cold water for use in powders.
